That creature might do 6 in damage but good luck going so close that you can do that damage.

Standing neck to neck of an epic crazy monster is a good way of doing a cloverfield ending.

You have to use range weapons....

Yes.  I didn't want to hotlink and didn't want to host them myself.

And http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgZwMFVOXDY shows an epic creature around 3:10.

Maybe that is not epic creature. Don't forget that you can have creature in size of elephant.

dude, the thing let the ground shake when it aproaches. that's SO an epic creature....

Not for me.

I wonder if we can just 'epicify' any critter we want to. Would be fun to like make a whole bunch of little ones and let them battle each other in alien cities.

They may have cut down the size for normal creatures to be as big as elephants and created the epic creature type to distinguish larger creatures. They may have had to do this so epic creatures can exclusively exhibit gargantuan behaviors such as deeper roars, slower speed, and shaking the ground as they walk.

hmmmm, a giant c**k perhaps

by the way, any veteran of this forum should remember a time when that was the most dreaded prospect of the spore server.

Oh yes, I remember. Last time I checked, it still is.

Guys, I have a question.

See that really small guy?  That looks like it'd be extremely hard to create at a normal level.  Do you think they have some sort of "Un-epicfier"?

I think that creature classifies as "food", like the lowest part of the foodchain...

won't epic creatures just ignore you when your in creature stage? your no threat to them and they'll probably eat plants (or whole trees) so unless one is attacked or specifically going to hunt wont it ignore you?

the epic in that video just yelled and din't give chase at all.

i hope someone makes a mod that makes epics controlable. i also wonder what the size limit on epics is.

I think a large amount of Epic creatures are going to be carnivores.

P.S. Why would you call yourself stupid?

even the biggest normal creatures will not "exhibit gargantuan behaviours"

but even the smallest epics will.

its like flipping a switch to make it big, not just making it big to begin with.

The largest creatures on Earth are either herbivores or filter feeders, the biggest land carnivore is the polar bear, the biggest land herbivore is the elephant, when you're a predator being huge has much more disadvantages than advantages, whereas herbivores have more advantages with being so large.
What have you got against intellectual midgets? They're quite smart little guys as far as i can tell.
