Topic: My First pvp video for WOW

another reason i quit wow was this:

people naming their characters something retarded, like "sw" and getting away with it.

yet another reason i quit wow was this:

people making videos of their characters being so "awesome" in pvp. let's see how "awesome" that twink actually is in southshore/tarren mill. yeah, refer to the top reason.



note: these are not all of the reasons, there are many more.
and sawmill, try to continue your wow threads. you seem to generate many.

LOL Sw is a stupid name? what would be a better name? whats wrong Sw? and btw, i have a 60 rogue also, so i know what im doing, and yea i think twinks are retarted now, because you can only get to  " pvp " rank 3, which is nothing, i did it in 1 weekend, and anyway dont u think it would be fun, to get 2 fiery enchants and kill guys in 3-5 swings? i thought it was a blast untill i found out that u could only get to rank 3. also, if i picked better music, and had some more 1 vs. 1, the vid would be 100 times better. Like i said, this was my first vid ever, and dont worry, ill create a better one later on, ( not a twink ) :p  ps. Sw is a sick name for a girl NE rogue!!

Blah after some 30,000 characters per server the name train gets a bit short.  Not everyone has endless names to try.  The only thing that pisses me off is people that think they are being clever by pulling their name out of a good fantasy novel/series.  I'm not talking Gandalf or Legolas... I'm talking a bit more rare pulls like characters from The Wheel of Time, George RR Martin's series, or the worst... R.A. Salvitore novels -_-

Onto the video.  As a person who enjoys watching most videos I have a couple suggestions for you.

1. Shorter is better.  People have short attention spans.  Pick your best fights and put em up to some music that fits the tone of the fight.

2. Music... try to find some older or lesser known music.  It always wins points with the audience if it isn't something they've probably just heard on the radio.  Don't be afraid to fade a song out... no need to always use the same one.

3. Use some more tricks to transition between scenes.  Mix it up... don't always have to show a fight from begining to end.  Start one fight...fade out... start another... fade out... finish first fight... fade out... finish second fight. 

4. Don't be afraid to crack jokes at your own expense.  Showing off a death or two and joking about what you did wrong never hurts.  We are all human   Except for the gnomes... god awful gnomes.

Overall it was watchable, but it would of been a lot more bearable had a lot of the running and jumping zig zaggery been cut out.

Yes and not becuase maybe i dunno... they thought the name was cool?  I mean heaven forbid someone pick a name they like.
