April. The fools day. This is 2019.

Are the last two years worth of April Fools Day threads still sitting on the front page?
Yes.

Is that relevant?
No.

Because this is the 2019 thread.
I've been making these threads since 2011, and I will cling to this tradition with uncomfortable levels of dedication.
2011
2012
2013
2015
2016
2017
2018

The only year I missed was 2014. I have no idea why.
From 2006 to 2010 we mainly just used Fink's thread here.

Now what jokes is the internet doing this year? Or the non-internet? What's happening?

What meme is relevant right now? Look, just imagine I'm riffing on that. Updating signatures is exhausting.

It took me a while to realise what the Guardian was doing.

The BBC is doing some stealth advertising for their Sounds app.

These are valid additions and thank you.

Meanwhile, Google brought back Snake

A whole buncha comics on /r/Comics are doing weird eye things.

XKCD is doing some kind of vote thing.

And that is some stuff too.
