Once you have the game installed you're going to want to right click it and then select "Delete local content".

Then contact Steam Support for a refund.
Not a winner anymore.

Thankfully I am playing the chowder edition and I've got it in borderless window mode.

I've been playing basically nothing but the main quest, enjoying it immensely. Looking forward to doing other stuff but... I have so little time and I just want to make sure I'm "doing stuff" the whole time I'm playing.
No way dude, you're trolling me.

I've been downloading it at a speed that won't go over about 200kB for 4 days now. 61%.

Literally all of my roommates have been playing it this entire time. One stayed up for 40ish hours, getting up only to engage in biological functions. While he was outside of his room eating, he was watching someone streaming the game too.

I think they like it.

I've been playing a fair bit.  Pat your backstory probably won't really fit into the mold the game forces the protagonist.

It's okay, more of the same it seems. Scale is still all kinds of off, but given the post apocalyptic nature it's more understandable than Skyrim laughably small cities. I like the mods a lot and it's made melee weapons a thousand times more fun. I basically play this like Skyrim with guns. Got myself a bat with chain and nails that basically knocks the head off whoever I hit if I aim up lol

*by knock off I mean explode. Swords actually do a clean slice but blunt weapons make the heads go boom

Yes it will. It'll work just fine. Bethesda told me it would work fine.

And it'll work even better once the GOTY version comes out and I have a random start mod.

Okay am starting. Just working through the prologue now.

So...

That Vault-Tec salesman was pretty suspicious. Almost like he knew the apocalypse was coming.

I thought his timing and exit was also suspicious but idk it seems like he probably was vaporized. Though, Vault tec wanting to get all holdouts for its experiments asap as im sure they're aware the war is getting turnt up is there

I'm not saying he set off the nukes.

But I'm saying he set off the nukes.

You can actually stick around and explore the town before going to the vault.
If you stop and think about it, Your life's longer as an old guy than a kid. Scary o.o

I wandered around as well for a while. There seems to be a time limit on it and/or a couple points where it triggers and kills you.

Just get/build a no apocalyptic mod and explore forever.

Kind of inteo minds about getting this game on one hand everyone has it and I do like the fallout universe games on the other I also want to get battlefront I played that at PAX Aus and had a blast (with blasters).
