Ooh, I have a triumph! Well, I guess it's more of a general accomplishment but this seems like a good enough place to share it.
Having become a pretty big fan of Gundam in the past year I've also gotten into gunpla (
Gundam
plastic model kits). Anyway, the gunpla community on reddit is having a contest/competition, and I finally finished my entry! It's a custom model. First time I've painted a model, or custom-built parts or anything (which annoys me that, even though it's my first time doing this stuff,
I'm entered in the advanced category instead of beginner,
because these are advanced techiques and the criteria goes by techniques instead of something that makes sense like experience.
Sorry, just a gripe). Anyway, even though I'm sure I won't win I'm super happy I did it.

The shoulder cannon actually rotates up and down!
