Contact Nintendo as well. They should be able to lock your account and make sure you can get access to all of your old digital content (if you had any) if you get a new system.

My 3DS hasn't been found yet.
I transferred everything I had in Pokebank to Pokemon Home.
There wasn't a lot of them. I guess I must have transferred most of them to one of the cartridges before it was lost.
Oh well.
