What will you do?
« on: June 26, 2005, 12:27:32 pm »
When you get out into space, and you can first view & manipulate the universe what are the first few things you will do “in your home system?”

1. Carve my name in a moon
2. Drop an asteroid on a planet
3. Terra form an airless planet into an interesting shape.

I'd like to hear what you want to do with the ufo

The idea is to mix one ingredient that will burn very fast with a second ingredient that will supply enough oxygen for that burning. This burns so fast, it's an explosion.

Find a primitive species and do the whole make them worship me thing when I show them advanced technology while they are in the tribal stage.

Probably try and find and visit as many planets as I can, trying to discover the most inhabitable and the ones that will take a lot of work to make so.  -leeman

Find an uninhabited planet, terraform it, move all my people there, and turn my home world into a wildlife sanctuary.

Fly around looking at planets while humming the Star Trek theme song.

You realize there are over 100,000 stars in each galaxy.  ;) Don't want you to lose your voice.

I would probably concentrate on space stations at first, assumng they play a role in Spore.

And zoom around my stations humming the "Blue Danube" (from space scenes in 2001 Space Odyssey)

Well. *ahem*

After I get full tech, I'll turn my home planet into a giant temple dedicated to me with a gigantic likeness of myself at the north pole. Why tentacled dragon-things would be worshipping an umanis teen, I have no idea, but still. Afterwards, if possible, I'll have turned the entire planet into nothing but city or terraformed every square inch to make it look tidy. Of course, I'd take the strongest, most aggressive species there is and cyberify it up, making sure to have an army of impossibly powerful, non-sentient cyborg monstrosities. They wouldn't turn against me because they wouldn't have any semblance of technology, though if possible, I'd like mind-control chips too. Just in case. Then I'd launch a spaceflight to the sun, to get to the fertile surface and collect gold and... um... monkeys, as I'd already have unlimited cheese from the moon.
