NOOOOOO! My dreams of a giant army of boxes to smite my enemies has never been so near, but I am cursed to live in a country where health-care is free. IF ONLY THE GOVERMENT SPENT THAT MONEY ON BOXES FOR THE MASSES! The homeless must be spinning in their gutters...

Buh... The Post Office is sponsored by the government, but they raise their own revenue for the most part and charge for their service. It's like if FedEx offered you a free box if you used them to ship your crap.

How is this turning from a topic about free boxes into a topic about foreign disapproval of the US healthcare system? What the hell is wrong with you people?

I totally missed this topic.

Be careful with this people, the free box thing has been circulating on Internet forums for years and I'm sure the USPS has caught onto some things by now.

Aw don't say stuff like that. I wanna see awesome box forts!

Edit: Englishmen, this may deserve an entire thread of its own, but FedEx are now offering the same:

Enjoy  ;D

It is not a scam, but you should not send hundreds of boxes to people you hate.

I ordered one, because my mother is paranoid and thinks it's some major scam, despite the fact that I was able to order without any payment method  :-\

Now I get to wait a week to to prove to her it isn't a scam, then another week to order boxes
