the price almost as unbearable as the $3 gas we have now?

Lol whut.

That's what, 40p a litre? Hah. We pay nearly two and a half times that.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA no.

Actually it's 1 Pound 40p.

Do you understand the difference between gallons and litres, or are you just special?

Sorry, I have nothing really important to add to this thread.

But that last exchange made me laugh a lot. Good work. ;D

I can't watch the video until I get home (work firewall and all that). But I was curious why European gas is so much more expensive...

http://www.caranddriver.com/dailyautoinsider/11068/gasoline-price-hits-7-a-gallon-in-england.html

Taxes account for about 66 percent of the pump price in Britain. Of the current average price per gallon of $6.48, about $4.27 goes to the government, while U.S. drivers pay an average of about 46 cents per gallon in combined state, federal and local taxes, according to the Tax Foundation, an independent organization in Washington.

So the price of gas itself isn't the problem, it is the government taxes. Time to take up arms and... oh wait.. um...

(just kidding here folks)

Yeah, it's quite a large proportion. As well it should be, IMO.

That appears horribly fake.  It looks like he's putting some sort of reagent into the top of the test tube.
Not to mention that if it was really real then it probably would have been in one of the science magazines you can get.

Holy crap! Prices are actually higher now than when there was a bona fide fuel shortage? Thats insane.

Edit: Had to edit the name because the forum censors "sal****er".
At least the forum doesnt just mysteriously censor it out for only you.
W*****. As in, how heavy something is.
Or *****. As in, the number between seven and nine.
Apparently nobody else gets this. Its not some hiccup from my browser (opera) either. :s
It censors eight for me, too...
