Topic: How are YOU going to help Noogle?

Alright. Now that I've had a day to doodle in class (grade 8 is easy), I have a few sketches of possible nooglevolutions (not a typo, just an awesome-ish word):



Sorry they're so poorly scanned, but what can you do (don't say scan it again).

Anyway, in the first one (Nooglaeus Predatorium), the creature has that kind of sucker mouth that's available from the beginning, as well as a tail with a (possibly) poisoned stinger. Also it has the standard (for me) chitinous shell and adorable anime eyes to lull the enemy into a false sense of safety (Awww... Its so *GHAAAH!!!* Thud.)

In the second one (Noogleus Herbivorous), it has become quadrupedal and has kept it's original pincer-mouth (could be used as tusks), as well as a smaller mouth on the inside, to rip up plants. Also it has the standard chitinous shell and adorable anime eyes, that make them too adorable to eat.

I thought they had removed herbivore/carnivore from the editor screen altogether.

At least, I don't remember seeing them in any of the recent screens.

Ehhh they have and haven't it's just been moved. If we look at the following picture

it shows information on one of the mouth pieces...so basically whether you're a herbivore or carnivore is one of those buttons under the ermmm stats bar, as it's the same symbol as seen in other screenshots.

I'm gonna play as another creature, then I find a noogle group, feed cheeseburgers to them and let them grow real big, like cow size or something... then I'll use them as my main source of food... to make more cheeseburgers... and feed some of them to more noogles :x

Ahh!  Nice.  I recognize that "fraction" now.  That can be seen under the sliders in the other menus, too.  So they just changed Herbivore/Carnivore from a slider to an icon.  It probably switches between the meat, the veggie, and the fraction.

Oh, I meant basic omnivore, and yes, I'm talking about the tooltip.

My guess is that different mouths will allow you to eat different things. For example, some herbivores eat grass, others eat fruit, etc. It makes sense.
