I jumped ship from the original series after Vacation so I wouldn't be able to tell you.

But the system they use in Late Night is pretty neat! You have to complete challenges and make contacts to earn a higher star rating.

Congratulations...Sims 3 is now on Steam.  

Get The Sims 3 and the three expansions (edit: and the two stuff packs) for $90 total until February 2.

Eh, that's still a lot.

Considering that after 18 months, EA still has the vanilla game at $40 and the three expansions total for $100, $90 isn't THAT bad.  If you want to play the game anytime in the next year, this is probably the cheapest you're going to get everything.  It's pretty much the price of the full game and one expansion. 

But I probably still won't end up getting it.
