First of all, deleting posts in a discussion is always a jerk move.
And you're right, if I cannot trust government, media, and eye witness accounts, as you seem to suggest, then it is hard to say what did and didn't happen. And if we cannot trust any similar records from the time, you couldn't prove to me that President Kennedy wasn't shot, but was instead turned into a glazed donut by a wizard.
There's reason that I'm pressing you on the issue, that I'm not interested in leaving it as a possibility to consider. This isn't just some thought experiment, like wondering if other people see the world in different colors or something. The idea of 9/11 being an inside job has serious, serious consequences. I'm talking armed revolution consequences.
Analogy time, everyone loves analogies. Say you have a neighbor, whose son is killed in broad daylight in a drive by shooting. The alledged shooter is identified, and a huge crackdown is launched against his gang. Meanwhile, you have a suspicion that the gang wasn't really involved, and your neighbor set the whole thing up himself. This isn't an issue you should just leave alone, you might be living next to a murderer. You have an obligation to get your facts straight. If there is any evidence, you better do something to act on it, so the person who killed his own son is brought to justice. If you don't have any evidence or don't bother to really look into it, then you should really quit telling everyone else in the neighborhood that your neighbor probably killed his own son, that they should at least consider it as a possibility. It makes your look either paranoid or stupid, and irritates the neighbors.
I know you've already backed down, but I'm saying this for Detox, too. Have some freaking credible evidence and know what you're talking about, or shut the hell up about possibilities and having an open mind.
