I would suggest blatant honesty and screw flavor.  The purpose of the item name in this case is to quickly and effectively explain what the item does. Get fancy and this is no longer achievable.

So, let's say you have three tiers of item that all boost overall exp when consumed. Call them 'garbage exp thingy', 'passable exp thingy' and 'MLG exp thingy'.

Better idea, call everything a crate because people love random loot drop crates. 'Garbage exp crate', 'passable exp crate', 'MLG exp crate'.

Hunh? No. You asked about terminology. That's what I was talking about, not a loot system. Just calling the dropped items crates (even though they aren't) because everyone complains about getting crates in their drops and this entertains me.

Nice, ill add it to the exp items :D , also thanks for stopping by my stream <3

Oh make it in to volumes. Which normally they are in book form. so Volume AAA-BAO or something like that. So in the end you would have 10-30 volumes of books.
