Everything Else / Re: Dreams
« on: January 09, 2009, 03:49:42 am »
I had a very long dream that sort of formed a complete story arc. I was staying overnight with my sister and father at a friend of his' house. The house was really badly made carpentry, and the nails were 'soft' so the building slowly gave in and fell apart as you walked around. I found a strange door in the loft-area, and found myself in a nearly pitch-black light with a pull string. So I turned on the soft, greenish white light and wandered, barefoot, through a series of concrete rooms with passwords to other doors written on the walls in simple cyphers and bone-covered floors.

When I got out, I sort of fell sideways onto a barbed wire fence, only there weren't that many barbs. I recognized it as the city I lived in, but the geography was all wrong. The fence was about five stories tall and at least a kilometer wide, so I climbed over it and jumped onto some sort of tower sticking off a factory and clambered into a bathroom on the roof. It looked like the bathroom in a house I used to live in. Except nobody hid dead bodies in my bathroom. I cleaned the blood off the walls, mirror, toothbrushes and sink, and hid the two dead guys under the tub. I think they were guards from the Thief game, but they might have been ordinary people. Anyways, then I left, afraid, and walked down this sort of pink concrete path and past the husk of a giant, dead, burning spider.

I found myself at my old house, the one I lived in. I realised it was the past, so I tried convincing my sisters and my mother that I was, in fact, a year older (Though I moved more like three years ago.) which, strangely enough, they accepted pretty much straight off the bat after they realised I was a head taller than my older sister. I went to sleep and walked across the overpass with a friend of mine, going to a bus stop on a different side of town. We met two other people, and we all went and got on the us together, which drove right into the river. Somehow, before it sunk the driver turned the bus around (Traction on water?) and got it about half way back to shore before we were submerged. Everyone on the bus, which was a school bus at that point, was perfectly calm.

The pressure got bad and it got harder and harder to breathe. But, somehow, the bus driver just got the bus up onto the beach and then onto the road again, and drove off as if nothing had happened. The bus arrived at the school and we got off, waltzed in, and I woke up.

Christ that was weird.

Indeed, we could go on and also criticise you for your hair. Actually, yes.

Your hair sucks too.

You Scored as Hedonism
Your life is guided by the principles of Hedonism: You believe that pleasure is a great, or the greatest, good; and you try to enjoy life's pleasures as much as you can.

eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die!

More info at Racoon's Wiped User Page...

Shiny. Although the whole Divine command thing suprises me cause I put in "Strongly disagree" for pretty much all the religious questions.

Thief 1 and 2. Slightly tightened graphics, smoother interface perhaps? More details and good voice actors. I'd buy it.

It was five bucks in a bargain bin. The expansions are, er, slightly more expensive.

Oh god...everything is so slow! I need some Jet! I NEED IT NOAW!

So I've been trying out fallout 2. And I've tagged unarmed, big guns and repair for a different experience. It's actually really neat how you can punch people in the balls so they pass out from pain, or how you can give them a concussion if you aim for the head. Works on gecko testicles too. FALCON PUUUUNCH~!
