Jean-Claude Van Damme Will Turn You Into a Sheep!
First we had Mr. T, William Shatner, and Willy Toledo showing their love for World of Warcraft. Well add one more C-list "celebrity" to the list as the "Muscles from Brussels" Jean-Claude Van Damme is now appearing in a WoW commercial for the French version of the game.
Luckily the European WOW web site provides a full translation of what he's saying ... not that it really matters, does it?
Jean-Claude Van Damme plays as a Troll Mage.“My name is Jean-Claude Van Damme… and I am a mage.”
“Hand-to-hand combat for me: it's over!”
“Now I can cast powerful spells!”
“Just try messing with me… I’ll turn you into a sheep.”

Posted by Danzik at December 8, 2007 12:40 AMThis is really a very interesting time to bust out these ads, with Shatner and Mr. T and apparently these two other guys. In America, they wouldn't be able to show one of those guys playing as a human because America is screwed up in that way, but I think they're using these to push for the last few hundred thousand subscriptions required for their target goal of 10,000,000.
