December 06, 2005Xbox 360 Degrees!
I received my FREE Xbox 360 yesterday! Too bad though. The thing over-heated and doesn't work. I was going to play a game with my friends in Japan, but it crashed on us. The power supply on this device is HUGE! At least I know why they called it the Xbox 360 and not the Xbox 2. The damn thing gets up to about 360 DEGREES!!!! It's frightening! By the way, you realize that this blog is totally fake, right? Still amusing though. Comments
You think she actually overheated her 360 or do you think she just forgot to get a power adaptor? :D Posted by PatMan33 at December 6, 2005 08:39 PMDumbass. Even if you know it doesn't work, sell it on eBay. But I guess she doesn't need that money... Posted by 762 at December 6, 2005 08:43 PMI wonder if it actually overheated or if the video cable was not plugged in tightly. Posted by Dylan Greene at December 6, 2005 08:56 PMI think everybody is missing the point. Who the hell reads Madonna's blog?! Posted by eXtinguish at December 6, 2005 09:49 PMI'm pretty sure this isn't Madonna's actual blog and probably a crazed fan. Some of the other entries are just aren't PC enough for a public figure like her. "I've heard people say that I hire 100 Photoshop guys to touch up my photos and blah blah blah. While I admit that I use retouching on some promo shots to remove blemishes or zits from time to time, I have never used it to totally make me look different from my actual self. I always work hard at the gym to look fabulous. I don't need Photoshop to improve my body, etc. Have you seen this photo of Mooriah Scarey? Notice anything different about the Mooriah in the foreground than the one in the background? One is fat and the other looks like Beyonce! This is hilarious! I would never pose in front of an obviously airbrushed photo like this. All I know is her Photoshop artist has a very good imagination!" Posted by Danzik at December 6, 2005 09:51 PM
Americans belive anything thrown at them:P its the only reason people make up such stories or do such things is because it attracts a crowd.... Posted by Kimleo at December 7, 2005 04:25 AMI really couldn't care one way or the other whether she likes a game console I'll never buy, but it kind of pisses me off that she'd just throw $400 into the dumpster. I see a lot of people every day that could use that money to better themselves. Posted by Eagleon at December 7, 2005 10:41 AMJust go to her official website, there is no mention of a blog, not likely hers. Oh and the gamingsteve community did a nice job making an ass of themselves spamming the comments. Posted by Interitus at December 7, 2005 01:53 PMYou've got to be stupid to believe that's her blog. I siggyed mine Sam: The ploofy master if you want to read it in the comments. I said what i wanted to say and was nothing but respectful. Posted by sgore at December 7, 2005 03:58 PM"We did what now? Good for you don't fall into that catagory then. But look at the comments for every other article, at most there is an average of 3. The XboX one has 50+. I'm not Madonna fan, doesn't mean to go and trash someone elses blog (real or not) it just makes us look immature. Even if it was the real Madonna judging by the posts no one seemed to be a big fan and care much about what she said. So if you don't like "her" opinion, why are you guys getting so defensive about it? Don't make me regret becoming a part (small part) of this community. Posted by Interitus at December 7, 2005 10:10 PMSince I posted this story it has appeared all over the web, including Digg and Kotaku just to name a few. Whoever left the inappropriate comments on that blog should definitely be banned but that is up to the moderator of the blog to patrol and monitor. By the way, it has been my experience that when inappropriate comments start to appear they are usually left by a very small group of people or even a single person believe it or not. I have seen a single person try to post up to 50 different negative comments on a single thread, using different names and even carry on a conversation with the various comments. Knowing this community and the people on the forums I seriously doubt it was anyone from here that did this. Posted by Gaming Steve at December 7, 2005 10:24 PM
Wouldn't mind having a 360; but not dying for one either. Please do something about your post.
KEK!
This is extremely easy to spot as a fake. Madonna is in her 40's, she is extremely intelligent, a brilliant businesswoman, and lives in England. Unless they have Japanese dumpsters in England, I can't image that ever happening. Also, the level of language is about that of a 12 yo. Notice all! of the! exclamation points!!!!! It indicates someone born between 1990 and 2000, becuz badd spleeling iz commun becuz of IM. Anyone taken in by this hoax kind of deserves it. This looks very similar to the Nintendo DS-interfering-with-TV pictures. Posted by Robb at December 8, 2005 01:20 PMI read some of the blog. It's actually much funnier in the blog context. It is obviously not meant to be taken seriously. "Houston, we have a problem" made me laugh. Posted by Robb at December 8, 2005 01:28 PMIt will be good to use ebay. Posted by Elan at December 30, 2005 01:14 PMSo Mad Madge of the Madonna kind has set up a new Limited company in the UK called, of all things: Semtex Girls. Let’s face it, only a non-Brit without an understanding of recent British history would introduce the word “Semtex” into a company name, and if anyone was likely to put their dainty “plate of meat” into it — mad Madge was a prime candidate. Although you would have thought Guy could have had a word in her “shell” like! Semtex, as any Brit over the age of 11 probably knows was the preferred “butchering device” of the infamous IRA. Semtex plastic explosive is manufactured in the Czech Republic and is safe to handle but difficult to trace, since it has no smell — unlike the controversial marketing stench wafting from Semtex Girls! In fact, a quantity of 0.5 kg/1.1 lb of Semtex is thought to have been the cause of an explosion that destroyed a Pan-American Boeing 747 in flight over Lockerbie, Scotland, December 1988, killing 270 people. Of course, everyone now wants to know the nature of Mad Madge’s new business. Apparently, she won’t reveal the exact purpose of her new venture but apparently issued the following incomprehensible marketing dribble to Contactmusic: “The Semtex Girl is a girl who is dynamic, a girl who explodes, who doesn’t know the meaning of nine to five, a girl who is unstoppable and who doesn’t take no for an answer. And has excellent taste”. Apparently Mad Madge also reassured her male fans (does she have any?) that they’re not exempt and can be Semtex Girls too! Presumably after surgery! It’s been suggested that Madonna’s new Semtex Girls company could be a fashion brand. A number of commentators have suggested we could soon be seeing Semtex Girls Clothing, T-Shirts, Jackets and Jeans. Sounds a bit cheap and tacky. So has Mad Madge finally lost her marbles and overstepped the accepted bounds of marketing BS. Most people could probably overlook her exploitation of Qabala to glean attention but to glamorise a substance which has been used to murder innocent civilians and could feasibly be used in the future by pseudo-Muslim terrorists to inflict mass murder is nothing less than spiritually retarded!
