I kinda feel sorry for that first dude. Well, except he has an XBox 360 and I don't...lol

All that time, and he only gets one game...

Man, MS should give that dude a bunch of games for his dedication. That is nuts.

Great coverage Steve, I think this mobile podcast was well done. Listened to it before I had to take off to class. Hopefully more on site podcasts will happen, it sounded great by the way, no loud distracting background noise or anything. Keep it up, have a great thanksgiving.

Well Steve couple shows back you had a roundtable discussion regarding the games for the xbox 360 in particular Perfect Dark Zero where yourself talked about the game not being great well after playing Perfect Dark Zero for several hours all i can say is WOW i don't know what game you played but this is one of the best FPS released this year.Gamespot gave it a 9.0 and they are very tough on reviews well just wanted to give my input back to some xbox 360:)

Glad to hear that you like the game, I will give it another try and see how they improved it since I played it last month.

Hey Gaming Steve, great show!
I just was wondering how many different intros do you have ("...the man who ran over frogger!')?

Chiller was definitely one of the grossest games ever. It was around 1986, I was still in college, and I went into an arcade and saw Chiller. I was immediately horrified by the concept, but the graphics were so bad that the game didn't make me ill. Yes, I played it. I know you described this already, but you shoot that half-buried woman in the cemetary and first she looses her clothes and then you can shoot the hands, arms, head, and torso completely off--each time leave a blood splat and a stump with bones potruding. I think this is the closest thing video games have ever come to "snuff film," unless you count GTA.

I think compared to Exidy's Crossbow, this was a step back in gameplay because of the few screens and limited goals of secret items and blood. The Sheriff game was a little better, but boy did it jump on racial stereotypes!

Right around that same time, Commodore 64 had The Forbidden Forest and Beyond the Forbidden Forest. Both of those tried to achieve hideous death scenes by being stabbed, eaten, stung, melted, and crushed. It didn't stand up to Chiller, though.

If Chiller were made with today's graphics and sounds, I doubt any major publisher (except Take Two) would even consider it.

#3 here.

Steve, it was nice meeting you and all the press. I had a blast. Well worth all the hours I waited.
