So true about the PSP movies. They just accidentally filled that need for a smaller portable movie player. I don't know about the Video iPod though, it's so small... might not be cool to watch that long, that's what I heard anyway. I can't wait for roll-up displays. Im just getting a plain ol' portable dvd player for now! good show man.

I'm a big fan of the retro reviews! I have the 3 Swordquests. With Earthworld, I did what you did, but never sent it in. I also didn't belong to the "club" because I couldn't afford it. I didn't ask my parents, either. I guess I didn't like to ask for stuff like that.

I personally liked Earthworld. Fireworld and Waterworld gave up their clues so easily. Earthworld, however, never gave up more than 3 clues no matter how many combinations of items I tried. I have since looked up the solution and yes, it works.

The reason DC comics did Atari games comics was because Warner owned both of them. The Swordquest was pretty good. I loved the 80's perms the hero's sported.

Here are the many things I liked about Earthworld:
1) Very colorful!
2) Great theme of the Zodiac. The game stuck to the theme.
3) A familiar look-n-feel to Adventure and Haunted House players.
4) The diagram of the zodiac in the comic showed how the rooms were connected.

What disappointed me:
1) There was no thematic, logical, or procedural way to find the clues. It was all running around and guesswork. I honestly don't know how anyone solved it given the thousands of permutations.
2) The clues didn't hint about anything in the game.
3) The pendant that warped you to random rooms didn't have any purpose.

Very nice podcast. This is now one of my regulars.

An idea for an upcoming podcast or article:

Now that the sun is setting on the orginal Xbox, how about a little piece on the best, but most under-rated and least played, titles for that platform? Kind of an Xbox finale, saying goodbye to an old friend...

On recent podcasts you've mentioned "Beyond Good and Evil" and "Voodoo Vince" as great, but overlooked, titles. There must be more...
