An alternative explanation to behind doors Spore E3:

If we remember, it seemed like Spore was "snuffed" out from major gaming sites (despite being big news) after GDC (an announcement here or there, but otherwise nothing, except gamespoy).

Possibly EA promised these big gaming sites exclusive (i.e. behind doors) coverage of Spore at E3 in exchange for keeping quiet (thus the major gaming magazines/websites would have the real news about it, giving them an edge over others/smaller sites). But this is just a hypothesis of course. Your thoughts, Steve?

HAHAHAHA.. I was listening to the retro review. The wife could hear part of it but not all, suddenly she came around the corner and asked, "Why is Woody Allen talking about making a time-travel movie with killer tenticles?" ROTFLAMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
