April 8, 2005Let the E3 Rumors Fly!
Over at Computer Games Magazine they take a look at some potential upcoming projects including Crytek's (Fry Cry) next game, Gas Powered Games' (Dungeon Siege) next game, Remedy's (Max Payne) next game, id Software's (Doom) next game, 3D Realms's (Duke Nukem Forever) next game, and a few others. Perhaps the funniest/saddest entry is Peter Molyneux's next project: Lionhead’s Dimitri – Until just yesterday, nothing was known about this game except for the code name but the Computer and Video Games site revealed via a chat with Lionhead’s Peter Molyneux that the game is about recreating the player’s real life. Er…ok. That’s it folks…nothing more to see here..move along. Comments
Ah the rumor mill starting to rumble again. Soon it will go full speed! Always fun. I'm sure you'll get us the juicy bits! Posted by CustodianV131 at April 8, 2005 4:21 PMHow long has Duke Nukem Forever been in development now? Duke Nukem ain't the best character anymore. Back when he came out he was brand new and a new type of character. Now they're are tons like him. I wouldn't expect alot of this. Posted by Tarious at April 8, 2005 5:08 PMDimitri sounds like the Sims... so Peter Molyneux and Will Right both seem to be producing the same type of games (god/life sims). How remarkable. Posted by kevin at April 8, 2005 5:54 PMIf I remember it correctly, Dimitri is the name of superhero game. Molyneux was planning to publish it in mid nineties I think. Posted by Luke at April 8, 2005 6:25 PMThe superhero game: that was Indestructibles (originally MIST). Dimitri has been around as an idea/rough concept for maybe four years.
