God of War easily one of the best games I've ever played. I thought Ninja Gaidens combat was fun, but that's nothing compared to GoW. Unbelievable, I was so upset when I beat it, but looking forward to a sequel.
--typed as I listen to podcast--
All the stores in my area, the entire city, will only sell these $330 - $430 bundles.
I don't want a bundle. I want the console. Well, again, I don't want a PSP, but... eh.
I don't need an all-in-one media player thing. I don't want to buy special little movie and music and game CDs for this new machine that offers me nothing new.
Touch screen? I've been wanting that forever.
Oh well.
I read about that thing Sony is doing, that "Matrix" thing. Strange stuff.
I hope they fixed Fable. I want an easy to control life sim, not a shiny graphic blasted NES quality RPG.
XBox2, huh? Great. I only recently got an XBox and now they're coming out with another one that's probably only slightly better with higher graphical capability.
Developers will try to meet the capability and then spend forever developing something that -could- have been awesome had they spent more time building a decent story.
Graphics blow.
You hit PSP's issue right on the head there. I like DS because it has touchscreen. Why would I care about the PSP? Like I said, I don't need something small to play movies and music. I have a stereo system and MP3s. That's all I need.
I have a PS2 which is a DVD player. People rent DVDs these days. Who in the hell is going to rent UMDs? UMDs can kiss my ass.
Hey, I'm a HUGE Metal Gear fan. Yet, I can't be bothered to buy a console to be able to play Acid.
I've posted several times already about how I'm frustrated and broke, the PSP designer is a nut, and I don't care for it, blah blah blah.
That's about it.
Spore? Yay.
PC? Good.
Wait wait wait wait. XBox 2 with no harddrive? Possibly with an optional harddrive I can buy? Well, that settles that.
I'm not getting an XBox 2 either.
Thanks for warning me.
Anyway, I'm glad they kept Spore secret. I hate it when they hype stuff up during their disoriented scramble to be the first to get information.
Of course, if the game comes so far out of left field, nobody would know, and nobody would buy it.
But I'm sure they know what they're doing.
Good for Will Wright and his team. Maxis rules.
EA is a monster. I hope it dies soon.
I bet your site gets hit with a good bit of stuff for E3.
Why is God of War so special anyway? It reminds me of the first new Prince of Persia, which I thought sucked. Then there was Ninja Gaiden. That was ridiculous and boring. And then there was Devil May Cry, trying to be all bad-ass. Bleh. Terrible.
In any case, I don't want to sound like I hate this game before playing it. I just don't like the style of gameplay. I need a lot more than hacking and slashing.
That orb thing sounds like Devil May Cry.
The mini-game thing sounds interesting I guess.
That difficulty changing thing sounds like Devil May Cry 3.
The commercials I saw certainly didn't look like the cutscenes were good. In fact, they looked terrible. Then again, the commercials were probably budget.
Whatever. I'll probably try it someday.
I got the Name That Game right. Yay.
Oh, holy crap. I won?? I think... there could be someone with a name that sounds different.
Actually, it's pronounced "gow - fast - us" but that's okay. If it's me.
Hell, I'll wait for the email.
In any case, I guessed right. I win the internet.
God of War is easily one of the best games i have ever played and will go down in my books top 5 for sure.
