PlayStation 3 Image?

PS3?I would say that nearly all of these "images" are totally bogus but this one just seems like it might be the real deal. And if these images are fake then I must say ... "they're spectacular!" (bonus points to those who get this TV show reference.)

What's interesting if this is a real deal is the various inputs, including DVD, two memory card slots, and a UMD slot (big surprise). Take a look and tell me what you think!

Update: It was confirmed that this photo is a fake. Shame really (but it was a bit ugly), and it just goes to show how starved people are for any information at all about the PS3!

I think the design is not too bad, though it looks a bit like a
projector... (that'd be cool with built-in projector)

Looks like crap.

I don't know what is up with their 2 control systems. People get gamecube for its party games with 4 people and even X-box has 4. Wouldn't be much to add 2 more control slots.

Then they are still lacking a good online feature like x-box live is.

Sony might be getting behind in the market after this.

It doesn't look like a Sony device. From their TVs to their Vaio notebooks, Sony has developed a style for their range of (multi)media systems. Especially the color (white, brushed metal-like) is dominant in their product range nowadays.

Of course, the can't stick with that design forever, but from what I've heard the PS3 has to become a sort of complete Media Center. I'm not sure if they'd come up with a overly futuristic looking, black, non-stackable device for that. Altough you could position this thing vertical again.

I think it's still safe to assume that 'early all of these "images" are totally bogus' :)

The picture is not what the PS3 is going to look like, although it does look like a nice design. The PS3 will have a built in internet adapter for online gaming, there will be no more tangled controllers because the PS3 has 4 built in wireless controller ports in it. I would post a pic from my magazine i got this information from but I first need to find the magazine lol.

The reason Sony keeps only two controller slots is that they can make more money selling "Multitaps" that way.

First it is too ugly, but the #12 comment on that site put it best:

"The giveaway that this is a fake is the reflections - look at the larger image, then the middle smaller front shot, it looks like a reflection of a big hall. Product images are shot in very controlled environments so these type of things don't happen..."

And one of the pics look like a projector. And this looks a lot like projector too?
